New Teacher Book Drive
​
NEHS was collecting books appropriate for Kindergarten through 6th Grade students. These will be given to all new CCS teachers for the upcoming school year. Books are dropped off at all elementary buildings at the end of May and early June.

Caps for Cure Fundraiser
​
NEHS holds a Fundraiser called Caps for Cure each Spring. Students could wear a hat to school for $1.00. These proceeds all benefit Childhood Cancer Research.
Read-a-Thon
Are you really good at Harry Potter trivia? Do you like to put on plays? Sometimes do you just want to drop everything and read a good book? NEHS is hosted the Read-a-Thon for Grades 3-6 in late February. Popcorn and snacks will be provided. Students can bring a pillow and blanket so they could cozy up with your favorite book!

Operation Lifting Spirits
​
NEHS students share their musical and performing arts talents or play games with the residents in Operation Lifting Spirits in a trip to local senior living center every December.
NEHS Induction
​
Every fall NEHS is please to welcome it's newest members at our Induction Ceremony. The Induction Ceremony is in the 515 Building Auditorium followed by a reception in the cafeteria.
